Composite toe or steel toe safety boots?

Both meet the same impact job. Composite caps are lighter, do not conduct heat or cold, and pass metal detectors — handy for airports and secure sites. Steel remains slimmer in profile and typically cheaper. Welders should also look at spats and avoid exposed laces, whichever cap they choose.
